Hello, my name is

I am Counselling Psychologist

Life throws many surprises at us, while we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can take control of how we respond to certain situations. Do you feel stuck? Lost? Depressed? It may sometimes feel difficult to speak to a family member or a friend

Professional Skills

my Specialty
Loss and Grief

Grief is not a problem to be solved or a "phase" to move through; it is a profound honoring of what was lost. Whether you are mourning a death, a relationship, or a version of yourself, I provide a container for the complexity of that pain. We work on integrating loss into your life story without the pressure to "get over it," allowing space for both the weight of sorrow and the possibility of eventually carrying it with more ease.

Life Transitions

Major shifts, whether career changes, relocation, or evolving identities, frequently knock the nervous system out of alignment. These "middle spaces" often trigger deep-seated anxieties about stability and purpose. I help you navigate the friction of change by identifying your core values and building the psychological flexibility needed to move through uncertainty with agency rather than just "surviving" the shift.

LGBTQIA+ & Gender Affirming Care

Identity is a deeply personal landscape, and navigating a world that isn't always built for your safety requires specific resilience. My practice offers a celebratory and informed space for queer, trans, and gender-expansive individuals. We focus on the intersection of identity and mental health, addressing minority stress, the complexities of coming out (or invited in), and the cultivation of a self-concept that is authentic, embodied, and unshakeable.

Anxiety and Perfectionism

Perfectionism is rarely about excellence; it’s a survival strategy used to manage the underlying weight of anxiety. When the "inner critic" becomes the dominant voice, it creates a cycle of chronic overthinking and emotional exhaustion. I help you untangle your self-worth from your productivity, moving from a state of constant "doing" to a grounded sense of being.

Childhood Trauma & Inner Child Work

The experiences of our past don't just stay in the past; they live in our current triggers, relationship patterns, and nervous system responses. My approach focuses on safely revisiting these developmental wounds to offer your "younger self" the advocacy it lacked. By integrating somatic awareness with inner child work, we move beyond just "talking about the past" toward active, cellular healing.

Trauma-Informed Care

Trauma is not just an event; it is the fingerprint that event leaves on your mind and body. Whether you are navigating PTSD, dissociation, or a general sense of unsafety, our work is centered on restoring your window of tolerance. We prioritize safety and agency, ensuring your story is processed at a pace your nervous system can actually integrate.

Self-Image & Self-Esteem

Self-esteem isn't about "thinking positive"; it’s about developing a realistic, compassionate relationship with the person in the mirror. We dive deep into the cultural, familial, and personal narratives that shaped your self-concept. The goal is to move from self-judgment to self-stewardship, building a foundation of confidence that isn't dependent on external validation.

Relationship Dynamics

We are hurt in relationships, but we also heal in them. Whether you're struggling with boundary setting, attachment styles, or communication breakdowns, I help you identify the "loops" you find yourself stuck in. Together, we work on building the emotional intelligence and vulnerability needed to create secure, fulfilling connections.

Personal Growth & Integration

Growth is a non-linear process of self-discovery. Beyond symptom management, this is about expansion, finding clarity in your values and the courage to live by them. I provide a supportive, analytical space to help you navigate life transitions and evolve into the most authentic version of yourself.
